Fitzroy

Family name of dukes of Grafton; descended from King Charles II by his mistress Barbara Villiers. The family seat is at Euston Hall, Norfolk, England.

Fitzroy

River in Western Australia. Its source is in King Leopold Mountains and it flows west through fertile plains before entering the Indian Ocean at King Sound on the north coast. The source was discovered in 1842, although the river itself was not explored until 1897.

Fitzroy

River in Queensland, Australia. It is formed by the junction of the Dawson and Mackenzie rivers and flows east into the Pacific Ocean at Keppel Bay near the Tropic of Capricorn.
