Flagg, Ernest (1857–1947)
| US architect. In his New York practice (established 1891), he promoted the adoption of Beaux-Arts principles and pioneered tenement housing, especially the type built round a courtyard with a glass roof. He developed small-house design and wrote Small Houses (1922). |
