Flannagan, John Bernard

Flannagan, John Bernard (1895-1942)

US sculptor. After studying at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, he was based in New York City. He used birth and death themes, as can be seen in Triumph of the Egg (1937).

He was born in Fargo, North Dakota and committed suicide following an incapacitating accident in 1939.
