Flannan Islands

Uninhabited island group of the Outer Hebrides, in Western Isles unitary authority, Scotland, 35 km/22 mi northwest of Gallon Head on the Isle of Lewis. It consists of seven islands and 20 rocks; the highest point reaching 90 m/295 ft. Local Hebrideans visit the Flannans in June to collect the eggs of eider ducks, gannets, and other seabirds.

The group contains some Caledonian ruins which are believed to date from the early 8th century.
