Flower Mound

Town in Denton County, northeast Texas; population (1990) 15,500. It is located 37 km/23 mi northwest of Dallas, on the north side of Grapevine Lake. A residential suburb, it tripled in population in the 1980s. The Dallas–Fort Worth International Airport is to the south.
