Floyd, Keith (1943– )

English chef and cookery writer. Notable for the flamboyant nature of his television presentation, he has produced nine major series, demystifying cooking from around the world, including Australia, Spain, Italy and Africa. His numerous publications include The Best of Floyd (1995).

Floyd was born in Somerset and educated at Wellington. He began his career as a journalist and broadcaster. Now the owner of several restaurants, he divides his time between Great Britain and Ireland.
