Follett, Ken

    0.07 sec.

Follett, Ken (1949– )

English writer of historical epic sagas and suspense thrillers such as Eye of the Needle (1978), an international best-seller.

Other works in the espionage genre include Triple (1979), The Key to Rebecca (1980), and The Man from St Petersburg (1982). He followed with historical epics, such as The Pillars of the Earth (1989) and its sequel World Without End (2007). His modern-era high-tech thrillers such as The Third Twin (1996) and The Hammer of Eden (1998) were less successful, and he returned to the war spy genre with Jackdaws (2001) and Hornet Flight (2002).
