Ford, Harrison (1942– )

US film actor. He became internationally known as Han Solo in George Lucas' Star Wars (1977), playing the role in the rest of the trilogy, and created the lead role in Steven Spielberg's series of Indiana Jones adventure films (1981–89). Other films include Blade Runner (1982), Witness (1985), The Mosquito Coast (1987), Frantic (1988), Presumed Innocent (1990), Patriot Games (1992), The Fugitive (1993), What Lies Beneath (2000), and K-19: The Widowmaker (2002).
