Fordney, Joseph Warren (1853–1932)

US representative. A lumberman and alderman before going to the US House of Representatives as a Republican for Michigan (1899–1923), he chaired the Committee on Ways and Means.

Born in Hartford City, Indiana, he returned to lumbering after his spell in politics.
