Fort Campbell

Military reservation situated along the state line in northwest Tennessee and southwest Kentucky. It is located 27 km/17 mi south of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, and 11 km/7 mi northwest of Clarksville, Tennessee. Its Army Air Field is in Kentucky, but most of the reservation is in Tennessee. Home to the 101st Airborne, it was a major basic training facility during the Vietnam War.
