Fort Rucker

Military training installation in Coffee and Dale counties, southeast Alabama; population (1990) 7,600. It is located 13 km/8 mi northeast of Enterprise. The Army Aviation Training Center and School here dates from the late-1940s. The nearby communities of Dothan, to the southeast, and Ozark, to the northeast, are economically dependent on the base.

American Water's Military Services Group also owns and operates the water and wastewater systems at Fort Sill, OK, Fort Leavenworth, KS, and Fort Rucker, AL, and is pursuing additional water and wastewater opportunities with the Department of Defense and other agencies in the Federal Government.
The CSC team will provide simulator-based flight training and related aviation training support activities to the Army Aviation Center at Fort Rucker, AL.
Suites one and two will be delivered to the Army during the second quarter of 2002, with installations taking place at Fort Hood, TX and Fort Rucker, AL.
