Fountain

Town in El Paso County, east-central Colorado; population (1990) 10,000. It is situated on Fountain Creek, 18 km/11 mi southeast of Colorado Springs. Surrounded by irrigated farms and ranches, it ships sugar beets, alfalfa, and livestock, and manufactures computer parts.
