Francis II

Francis II (1768–1835)

Holy Roman Emperor 1792–1806. He became Francis I, Emperor of Austria in 1804, and abandoned the title of Holy Roman Emperor in 1806. During his reign Austria was five times involved in war with France, 1792–97, 1798–1801, 1805, 1809, and 1813–14. He succeeded his father, Leopold II.

Francis II (1544–1560)

King of France from 1559 when he succeeded his father, Henri II. He married Mary Queen of Scots in 1558. He was completely under the influence of his mother, Catherine de' Medici.
