Goya

Town and port in the province of Corrientes, on the Paraná River in northeast Argentina, 190 km/118 mi southwest of the city of Corrientes; population (1996) 50,000. Goya is a centre for goods distribution and an export outlet for agricultural products and timber. It is also the site of a tobacco research station.
