Franklin, Edward Curtis (1862-1937)

US chemist and educator. He taught at the University of Kansas and at Stanford University. He is known for his work on the ammonia system of acids, bases, and salts, as well as on the structure of nitrogenous compounds.

He was born in Geary City, Kansas.
