Fraser, Marjory Kennedy (1857–1930)

Scottish singer and folksong collector, daughter of David Kennedy. She studied under her father and under Mathilde Marchesi in Paris and began to visit the Hebrides to collect folksongs in 1905. She published several collections of these songs and wrote the libretto for Bantock's opera The Seal Woman.
