Frauenfeld

Capital of the canton of Thurgau, Switzerland, on the River Murg 34 km/21 mi northeast of Zürich; population (2000) 22,000. Products manufactured in the town are cottons, silks, woollens, and iron and aluminium goods. Frauenfeld has a 10th-century castle.
