Frederick VIII (1843-1912)

King of Denmark 1906-12. The son of Christian IX, Frederick succeeded his father in 1906. He married Princess Louise of Sweden in 1869, and his eldest son, Christian, later Christian X, was born in 1870. His second son, Charles, became king of Norway in 1905, under the title of Haakon VII.
