Freeman, John Ripley

Freeman, John Ripley (1855–1932)

US engineer. He worked primarily on water projects, consulting on water power, drainage, and municipal water supply in Boston. In 1903, he was chief engineer on the Charles River Dam in Boston Harbor.

He was born in West Bridgeton, Maine. He was later involved in projects in Los Angeles and other cities.
