After the French and Indian War (1754-1763), Great Britain established the Proclamation Line of 1763. Given to the British in 1763 as part of the settlement of the French and Indian War. The war referred to here is the French and Indian War, and the White Devil is none other than Major Robert Rogers, leader of the legendary Rogers' Rangers. |
