Frid, Tage (1915-2004)

Danish-born furniture maker, noted for the precise workmanship and sculptural elegance he brought to his handmade furniture. He began his career studying and working in Copenhagen, Denmark, before moving to the USA and taking up the post of professor at Rhode Island School of Design in 1948.
