Test

River in Hampshire, southern England; length 48 km/30 mi. It rises near Ashe and flows south through Stockbridge and Romsey, before flowing into Southampton Water. It is used for trout fishing.

Statistical analysis was performed with the SYSTAT statistical package [double dagger] and included the calculation of means, standard deviations, and Pearson product-moment correlations; linear regression analysis; repeated-measures analysis of variance (ANOVA), and Friedman's test with post hoc analysis using Dunnett's procedure and all comparisons with a control procedure.
