| Spanish lutenist and vihuelist. Although blind he became a great player, and in 1554 published Orphénica lyra, a book of music for the vihuela and similar instruments, including compositions of his own and many arrangements of works by Guerrero, Morales, Arcadelt, Verdelot, and others. |
