Fulvia (died 40 BC)

Roman wife successively of the politicians Clodius, Curio, and Mark Antony. She exercised considerable influence in Rome during the civil war that followed Caesar's murder 44 BC.

Fulvia instigated an unsuccessful revolt against Octavian (Augustus) during Mark Antony's absence in the east. Besieged in Perusia, she managed to escape to Athens, but was not welcomed by Antony, and died soon afterwards at Sicyon in southern Greece.
