Gage, Irwin (1939- )

US pianist. He studied at the University of Michigan and with Erik Werba in Vienna. He has appeared throughout the USA and at major European festivals as an accompanist to leading singers such as Hermann Prey, Jessye Norman, Lucia Popp, Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, and Peter Schreier. He teaches at the Zurich Conservatory.
