Galion

Town in Crawford County, north-central Ohio; population (1990) 11,900. It is located 24 km/15 mi southwest of Mansfield. It was founded by German Lutherans in 1831, and lies in a diversified agricultural area. Manufactures include telephone equipment, brick and tilemaking machinery, and munitions parts.
