Ganne, (Gustave) Louis (1862–1923)

French composer. He conducted the Opéra balls in Paris and orchestras at Royan and Monte Carlo, and became very popular as a composer of ballets and operettas.

He was a pupil of Théodore Dubois and César Franck.

La Source du Nil and several others.

popular songs including ‘La Marche Lorraine’ and ‘Le Père la Victoire’; dances La Tsarine.
