Garner, Jennifer (1972– )

US actor. She became popular during the early 2000s for her leading role as an undercover CIA agent in the television series Alias (2001– ). Film credits include the crime adventure Catch Me If You Can (2002), the comic book adaptations Daredevil (2003) and its spin-off Elektra (2005), and the romantic comedy 13 Going on 30 (2004).

She had a recurring guest role in the television series Felicity (1998–2002), leading to a permanent role on the series Time of Your Life (1999), with Jennifer Love Hewitt. This series in turn led to supporting roles in films such as the comedy Dude, Where's My Car? (2000) and the World War II blockbuster Pearl Harbor (2001). Other films include the war drama The Kingdom and the comedy Juno (both 2007).

She was born in Houston, Texas, but grew up in Charleston, West Virginia. After graduating from Denison College in Granville, Ohio, she set out to establish an acting career, moving to New York City and then Los Angeles, California, in 1995. She appeared in the television film Zoya (1995) and in 1996 made guest appearances on several popular television series, including Law and Order and Spin City. Other television work includes the short-lived drama series Significant Others (1998).
