Garrett, Lesley (1955- )

English soprano. She sang at the Wexford Festival 1980-81, in Handel's Orlando and as Mozart's Zaide, and has sung Zerlina and Despina with the Glyndebourne Touring Opera and at Glyndebourne (from 1984), Mozart's Servilia at Geneva, and a Schoenberg cabaret in Paris. She performed with the English National Opera Ensemble from 1984, as Bella in The Midsummer Marriage, Janáček's Vixen, and Susanna. Her recordings include Diva and Primadonna.

She studied at the Royal Academy of Music, London, and made her debut with the English National Opera Ensemble in 1980, as Alice in Le Comte Ory.
