Geddes

Town in Onondaga County, central New York; population (1990) 16,700. It is located to the southwest of Syracuse, along Onondaga Lake. Like the town of Salina, across the lake, it was a 1790s salt-producing settlement. It is now a residential and industrial Syracuse suburb.
