Genzano di Roma

Town in Lazio region, west-central Italy, 25 km/15 mi southeast of Rome, built on the hill slopes near Lake Nemi; population (1991) 20,600. The town is known for its traditional Inflorata: on the feast of Corpus Christi the main street is carpeted with flower petals, arranged as a series of religious pictures.
