Germani, Fernando (1906–1998)

Italian organist and composer. He was a pupil of Respighi and others, and taught at the Curtis Institute in Philadelphia, in Siena, and at the Rome Conservatory. He was organist at St Peter's, Rome, from 1948. He travelled widely as a soloist and published a Metodo per organo and began an edition of works by Frescobaldi, as well as publishing organ works of his own.
