Ghiuselev, Nicola (1936- )

Bulgarian bass. He studied in Sofia and made his debut there in 1961, as Timur. His New York Metropolitan Opera House debut was in 1965, as Ramphis, and he has sung at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, London, from 1976, as Pagno in I Lombardi, Boris Godunov (1984), and Galitzky in Prince Igor (1990). He was Attila at the Vienna Staatsoper in 1990, and Rossini's Mustafa at the Deutsche Oper, Berlin, in 1992.
