giant

In many mythologies and folklore, a person of extraordinary size, often characterized as stupid and aggressive. In Greek mythology the giants grew from the spilled blood of Uranus and rebelled against the gods. During the Middle Ages, wicker effigies of giants were carried in midsummer processions in many parts of Europe and sometimes burned.

The park has a wide variety of game including; elephant, lion, black rhino, waterbuck, gazelle, giant forest hog, genet cats, leopard, buffalo and the rare spiral-horned antelope known as the bongo.
As well as the primates, the jungle is filled to bursting with other species of wildlife - antelopes, waterbucks, buffalo and herds of hartebeast, red river hogs and giant forest hogs, civets, leopards, pangolins and porcupines, aardvarks and hippopotamuses.
The continent of Africa offers three distinctively different species of wild hogs, the Warthog, Bushpig and the Giant Forest Hog.
