Best friends Sam and Gilly live lives filled with boredom and monotony. That's how I recently found myself in a cozy Vermont bed and breakfast, sitting across from the author of Bridge, The Great Gilly Hopkins, Jacob Have I Loved, and dozens of other beloved (and award-winning) stories. Hence, utilitarian behavior is Internet experience with a purpose (Assael, 1998; Babin, Darden, & Griffin, 1994; Hoffman & Novak, 1996; Holbrook & Hirschman 1982; Nielsen, 2000; Novak, Hoffman, & Duhachek, 2003; Novak, Hoffman, & Yung, 2000; Wolfinbarger & Gilly, 2001). |
