Giuliano,, Salvatore (1922-1950)

Sicilian bandit who, after fighting for the Sicilian Separatist movement, was recruited by political interests and in 1947 massacred a peasant May Day rally near Palermo. Uncaptured by the police he was eventually betrayed and killed.

Giuliano born at Montolepre.
