Gladstone

Town in Clay County, northwest Missouri; population (1990) 26,200. It is a residential and manufacturing suburb, surrounded by Kansas City and located to the north of the latter's city centre.

Town in Clackamas County, northwest Oregon; population (1990) 10,200. It is situated at the point where the Clackamas River empties into the Willamette River. It is a residential suburb 18 km/11 mi south-southeast of Portland.
