Glen Echo

Small town in Montgomery County, central Maryland; population (1990) 200. It is situated on the Potomac River, 3 km/2 mi northwest of the Washington, DC. Clara Barton's last home (1891), which was for a time an American Red Cross headquarters, is in the town. Glen Echo Park, originally an 1890s amusement park reached by streetcar from Washington, is now an arts centre.

The Clara Barton Redbud can be found at her home in Glen Echo, Maryland.
The Stroke & Heart Attack Prevention Center is located at 2000 Glen Echo Road in the Green Hills area of Nashville.
Mike is also Director on the Board of the Glen Echo Fire Department and chair of the volunteer organization Rescue Corps that brings emergency medical, fire/rescue, and disaster response services to communities in need around the world.
