Glen Ellyn

Residential town in Du Page County, northeast Illinois; population (1990) 25,000. It is situated on the east branch of the Du Page River, 42 km/26 mi west of Chicago. Local educational institutions include Maryknoll College, College of Du Page (1966), and a campus of Lewis University College of Law. The town was originally settled in 1833.
