| Site in a village near Vichy, France. Finds here from the 1920s onwards are considered a blatant hoax because of the disparate age of the objects and the crude nature of their manufacture. They included bones inscribed with drawings of animals 15,000 BC, axes 4000–2000 BC, inscribed clay tablets 700 BC–AD 100, and a medieval glass kiln. |
