Goddard, George William

Goddard, George William (1889–1987)

English aviator. He enlisted as a Signal Corps private in the 1930s and went on, in the 1930s and 1940s, to develop pioneering techniques in night, colour, high altitude, and stereoscopic aerial photography. He retired in 1953 and became a senior executive at Itek Corp. Goddard was born in Tunbridge Wells, England.
