Goffstown

Town in Hillsborough County, south New Hampshire; population (1990) 14,600. Goffstown is on the Piscataquog River, 10 km/6 mi west-northwest of the centre of Manchester. It is a Manchester suburb and summer resort, and produces poultry, fruit, and wood products.
