goldenrod

One of several tall and leafy North American perennial plants, belonging to the daisy family. Flower heads are mostly composed of many small yellow flowers, or florets. (Genus Solidago, family Compositae.)

Goldenrod

Residential town in Seminole and Orange counties, central Florida; population (1990) 12,400. It is located 6 km/4 mi northeast of Orlando.
