Goldsmith, Grace Arabell (1904-1975)

US physician. Her research on nutritional deficiency diseases, B-complex vitamins, and vitamin enrichment of foods were important contributions to public health. Goldsmith was born in St Paul, Minnesota. She earned an MD at Tulane University, where, on the medical school faculty (1936-75), she pioneered nutritional training for medical students.
