Gone With the Wind![]() Indian-born British actor Vivien Leigh as she appeared in the classic film Gone With the Wind (1939) in the role of Scarlett O'Hara. The film won ten Academy Awards. This promotional studio picture makes Vivien Leigh look much younger than her actual 26 years. Her lead man, Clark Gable (who played Rhett Butler), was 38 years old at the time.
