Gourock

Town and holiday resort in Inverclyde unitary authority, Scotland, situated at the mouth of the Clyde, on a promontory 4 km/2.5 mi west of Greenock; population (2001) 11,500. The ferry link from Gourock to Dunoon is a major tourist route leading to the Cowal peninsula.
