Grable, Betty (Elizabeth Ruth) (1916-1973)

US actor, singer, and dancer. She starred in Moon over Miami (1941), I Wake Up Screaming (1941), and How to Marry a Millionaire (1953). As a publicity stunt, her legs were insured for $1 million. Her popularity peaked during World War II when US soldiers voted her their number-one pin-up girl.
