Grace, (Chris)Topher (1978– )

US actor. His film debut as a rich, arrogant, teenaged drug user in Steven Soderbergh's Academy Award-winning drama Traffic (2000) earned him wide acclaim. Previously he starred in the popular period sitcom That 70s Show (1998–2005), earning critical acclaim for his subtle portrayal of a wholesome, angst-ridden teenager during the 1970s.

Other films include the period drama Mona Lisa Smile (2003), the romantic comedy Win a Date with Tad Hamilton! (2004), the romantic drama P.S. (2004), and the comedy In Good Company (2004).

He was born in New York City but grew up in Darien, Connecticut, and attended prep school in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. He began acting in school plays, and his performance in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum earned the notice of a classmate's parents, Bonnie and Terry Turner, who later became the producers of That 70s Show. He attended the University of Southern California for a year and studied acting at the Groundlings Improvisation School in Los Angeles, California, and the Neighborhood Playhouse in New York, New York.
