Graham

Town and administrative headquarters of Alamance County, north-central North Carolina; population (1990) 10,400. It is located to the southeast of Burlington. Established in 1849, it is a longtime textile- and furnituremaking centre.

Graham

Town and administrative headquarters of Young County, north-central Texas; population (1990) 9,000. It is located 124 km/77 mi west-northwest of Fort Worth. Founded in 1872 just below Lake Graham, on a tributary to the Brazos River, it is a commercial, processing, and service centre for the wheat, cattle, and oil industries. Aluminium, computer, leather, and other goods are manufactured in the town, which also has a resort trade.
