Grand Teton

Mount Moran in Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming. The mountain is part of the Teton Range, which is part of the central portion of the Rocky Mountains. The national park is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including bear and moose, and boasts spectacular scenery.

Highest point of the Teton mountain range, northwestern Wyoming, USA, rising to 4,197 m/13,770 ft. The region was first explored by Europeans in 1808. Grand Teton National Park was established in 1929.
